I miss working for Comcast. Don’t get me wrong, I don’t really miss actually working for Comcast. What I do miss, is the free service they give to employees.

I just had to pay them off quite a bit of money to get them to turn my service back on. I think I need to start shopping around for other ISP’s. Or, at the very least, see if I can get in touch with the retention department and see if I can convince them to put me on a promotion.

I really need to stop leaving for work early, I always end up being late.

I’m used to people confusing terms when they talk to me at work, that’s why I usually won’t correct them when they say that they are having problems with their DSL. I’m sure I could inform them that they actually have a Cable Modem, but what’s the point? That’s why I found it rather odd when the customer, who had VOIP service through us, couldn’t find the coaxial in port on their modem. Turns out they had DSL after all. They hung up to call SBC.

After failing at their first attempt to do a shift bid, my new schedule will be:

11:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Okay, so in the Men’s bathrooms here at work, we have urinals. And in almost every place where there is a urinal, there is at least two. Whenever this happens, you find that one is normal height, and the other is much lower.

I don’t have a problem with this. I understand that this is so smaller children can easily piss on the walls. (because that’s what you do when you use a urinal) But why is that the case at my work? When they were designing this building, the had to think about the fact that it would mostly be used by adults. Even counting in the fact that some adults are shorter than others, there is still no reason to make them quite that low. They should have considered the average height of the people that would be using it, (i.e. Adult men, employed by the company) and placed the height of the urinal appropriately.

I just hate using the little urinal.
